Give execute permissions for the file start.sh: click on the right mouse button and select Properties. In the window that appears, click the Permissions tab and check the Allow execiting file as a program.
To start the program, double click start.sh file.
Linux will only run when a file if a Linux partition is copied. On FAT or on other Windows partition Linux programs can not be run.
